  Install Shield Tuner for Lotus Notes 7.0.x, 8.0.x and 8.5.x for
  Windows 2000,
  2003 English (C84T5NA)
  
  Problem
  
  Silent client install changes default mail client setting.
  
  
  
  Setting "USENOTESFOREMAIL" ,  "USENOTESFORCONTACTS"  and
  "USENOTESFORCALENDAR"
  fields to "0" in .mst file (as per  TN # 1220293)
  does not work when doing a silent install.
  
  
  
  Customer needs to be able to do a silent Notes 8.5.1 but leave
  Outlook as the
  default email client.
  
  
  
  Problem description
  
  After packaging the Notes 8.5.1 Client and specifying it NOT be
  the default
  mail, calendar and contacts in Installshieldtuner, it ignores
  these settings
  when a silent client install is done.
  
  This has been tested and reproduced on Windows XP SP3 and
  Windows 7.
  
  Steps to reproduce are below :-
  
  1. Create an .mst file for 8.5.1 and set "USENOTESFOREMAIL" ,
  "USENOTESFORCONTACTS"  and "USENOTESFORCALENDAR" fields to "0"
  
  
  2. Install .mst with command line msiexec /I "Lotus Notes 8.5.1
  msi"
  TRANSFORMS="test2.mst" i.e. a GUI install. This works correctly
  and
  Notes 8.5.1 installs but Outlook remains the default email
  client on  the
  PC.
  
  
  3. Install (on say a new PC) with the same .mst file but this
  time use the
  command line  msiexec /i "Lotus Notes 8.5.1.msi"
  TRANSFORMS="test2.
  mst" /qn /qb+  (i.e. silent install). This results in Notes now
  becoming the
  default email client instead of Outlook (even though the .
  mst file has Notes set to NOT be the default email client).
