Question & Answer
Question
How do you save a Referenceunitpath as a relative or absolute path in IBM Rational Rhapsody?
Cause
The ReferenceUnitPath property defines how to save a reference unit path in Rational Rhapsody.
This property can be set to "Absolute" or "Relative" such that it specifies whether units that are added to the model is by reference to use an absolute path or by a relative path.
If the property is set to "Relative," then newly added referenced units contain a path relative to the project directory.
Answer
You can modify the property General::Model::ReferenceUnitPath = Relative at the model level as shown below.

Note: The correct way to change to a relative path is to set this property and then add the unit to the model again. If the 'ReferenceUnitPath' property is set to "Absolute" when the unit is loaded, then Rational Rhapsody continues to expect an "Absolute" path when the model is loaded.
