Problem
When creating and managing reports in Rational DOORS, I have the expectation that the saved report can be generated by any other user with access to it, and will consistently generate the same document regardless of the particular DOORS client used by the second user. Why is this not happening?
Symptom
If Person A sets up IBM Rational DOORS to produce a report for printing, and asks Person B (on another DOORS client) to generate that report, Rational DOORS can generate a report that is not formatted as Person A intended.
Cause
The cause can be the difference between the two display settings.
Resolving The Problem
When printing a view of a Rational DOORS module the result is dependant on the particular display settings of the user who is generating the printing command.
Using the same example as above, the Person A needs to make sure the display settings of Person B, who is printing the reports, are identical with his/her display settings for that DOORS database.
