Error description
When you enter international characters (characters outside the US-ASCII character set) in the titles or cells of a decision table, edited within the Service Flow editor, the characters are displayed incorrectly after you close and reopen the editor. PRODUCTS AFFECTED IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) IBM BPM Express
Local fix
On operating systems that support locales with UTF-8 as character encoding, start the server in such a locale. For example, if the system has a locale named en_US.UTF-8, set the environment variables LC_ALL and LANG to en_US.UTF-8 before starting the server.
Problem summary
The strings that make up the titles and cell values are displayed in the wrong encoding because of an incorrect initialization during the loading of the values.
Problem conclusion
A fix that corrects the initialization to contain the correct encoding will be available in a future release of IBM Business Automation Workflow.
