Error description
In the web IBM Process Designer, the Service Flow editor shows warning markers for sequence flows that are actually correct. An outgoing sequence flow from a linked service activity where the linked service flow has one end event shows a warning marker only to specify an end state binding. This end state binding is not necessary for the service flow to work properly. Specify an end state binding only when the linked service flow has multiple end events.
Local fix
To avoid the warning marker, ensure the outgoing sequence flow of a linked service has an end state binding.
Problem summary
The warning marker in the Service Flow editor appears for all outgoing sequence flows of a linked service activity that do not have an end state binding regardless of whether a binding is necessary.
Problem conclusion
A fix will be included in a future release of IBM BPM that ensures warning markers on outgoing sequence flows of linked service activities are displayed only if an end state binding is mandatory.
Temporary fix
To avoid the warning marker, ensure the outgoing sequence flow of a linked service has an end state binding.
