Error description
After you upgrade to IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) V8.5.7 cumulative fix 2017.06, the REST or JavaScript API might not return the custom user attributes. PRODUCTS AFFECTED IBM BPM Advanced IBM BPM Standard IBM BPM Express
Local fix
If you authorize users to see the attributes, the API won't remove them from the response and the cache. For example, you could authorize users by adding the attributes as self-managebale attributes: <server> <user-attributes merge="mergeChildren"> <rest-authorization merge="mergeChildren"> <self-manageable-attribute merge="append">MyAttr</self-manageable-attribute> </rest-authorization> </user-attributes> </server> As a result, the MyAttr attribute is added to the response.
Problem summary
No additional information is available.
Problem conclusion
A fix that ensures only user attributes from the API response are removed, preventing the removal of user attributes from the cache, will be included in a future release. Interim fix JR58637 on IBM BPM V8.5.7 cumulative fix 2017.06 will also be available in Fix Central.
