Error description
When metadata is imported using ODBC Connector on zLinux platform, it imports incorrect decimal digits. The decimal digits of the first valid field are carried forward until next valid field, irrespective of the type of the field in between. The ODBC Driver on zLinux is behaving differently when compared to other platforms. In order to overcome this, we had to reset the decimal digits variable to zero for every SQLFetch after calling SQLColumns API.
Local fix
Problem summary
When ODBC Connector is used to import the table metadata in zLinux platform, the imported metadata is having incorrect fractional digits. The valid fractional digit is carried forward until the next valid fractional digits, irrespective of the types in between.
Problem conclusion
This is a change in behaviour in the ODBC Driver on the zLinux platform. We have made a code change in the ODBC Connector to overcome this problem.
Temporary fix
Keep all fields which are having fractional digits at the end of the table.
