Error description
If you implement a business process definition (BPD) to use client-side human service (CSHS) as the UI from the Instance Details UI Service Template dashboard toolkit, a variable marked as "Business Data" is not shown under the data section in the UI. Local fix
1. Edit the copy of "Instance Details UI Service Template" dashboard toolkit. 2. Find the Data Section coach view in View Instance Details coach. 3. Set the "Edit behavior - editMode" configuration option to false, which is the default.

Problem conclusion
A fix is included in IBM BPM 8.5.7 cumulative fix 2017.03 that shows a read-only data section for a customized process instance user interface if the content box of the Data Section control contains no data.
