Error description
Two configurable properties are related to a transaction timeout: <!-- default transaction timeout (seconds) --> <default-transaction-timeout>480</default-transaction-timeout> and <!-- default long transaction timeout (seconds) --> <default-long-transaction-timeout>14400</default-long-transactio n-timeout> The DELETESNAPSHOT command usually takes longer to run than the default timeout is set to. Local fix
Increase the value of the <default-transaction-timeout> property.
Problem summary
Deleting a large snapshot might timeout if the default timeout is set too low.
Problem conclusion
A fix is planned for inclusion in an upcoming IBM BPM V8.5.7.0 cumulative fix. This fix changes the timeout being used to the long timeout when deleting a snapshot.
