How do you change the module name so it can be easily identified after running the traceability wizard in IBM Rational DOORS?
Answer
In order to change the module name so it can be easily identified after running the traceability wizard, follow the steps below:
- Check the Properties of any module and you will see listed there an URL.
Inside the URL of every module you will find dbid=xyxyxyxyxyxyxy and container=ababababababa.
- Replace the "xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx-yyyyyyyyyyyyyy" inside the Layout DXL with the two values of the module you are interested.
For example: "xyxyxyxyxyxyxy-ababababababa".
Now the script will use the module that is represented by that specific URL
