Question & Answer
Question
How is one able to change the order of tags, preconditions, triggers, postconditions, main flows, alternative flows, and exception flows in a UML model in Rhapsody? Can you reorder elements while in Gateway?
Answer
In order to change the order of any elements in a Rhapsody model, you need to follow these steps:
- Go to the Rhapsody menu. Select View > Browser Display Options > Enable Ordering. This activates the Up and Down buttons for the browser.
- Once activated, select an element (tag, precondition, trigger, and so on) in the browser and click the appropriate Up or Down button. You can then select the order in which you want your elements to be displayed.
There is no logic in Gateway that allows a reordering of elements in a UML model. The order can only be changed within Rhapsody and outside of Gateway.
