Error description

  • Z APM Connect MQ monitoring can cause the MQ RMFT to become
invalid causing MQ to issue many ABENDS0D5.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Terminating MQ collection from within   *
*                      the Z APM Container can invalidate MQ   *
*                      control blocks which can cause          *
*                      ABENDS0D5 and ABENDS0C4.                *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply this PTF.                              *
****************************************************************
Z APM Connect created a cross-memory environment from within the
container address space.  If the container address space is
terminated the cross-memory environment is not longer usable.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Creation of the cross-memory environment is moved to a new
subsystem running under the master address space.
