Problem
Attempts to migrate IBM Rational DOORS database from v8.x to v9.x results in the error: "Failed to initialize database: Could not create relational store folder"
Symptom
You receive the following error message:
Failed to initialize database: Could not create relational store folder
Error Screen:
Cause
You receive the reported error if the Rational DOORS v8.x datafolder (to be migrated) contains a folder named relData under the v6data directory.
Resolving The Problem
To resolve this error, you need to delete the folder named relData present under the v6data folder of the Rational DOORS v8.x data before attempting to migrate it to Rational DOORS v9.x
