How to configure Telelogic DOORS DEMO license file?

Answer

Please follow the steps below to configure the Telelogic DOORS DEMO license file on the Microsoft Windows machine where DOORS client is installed.

Step 1: Right Click on “My Computer” and click on Properties.

Step 2: Click on Advanced > Environment Variables > System Variables

Step 3: Select ‘TELELOGIC_LICENSE_FILE’ and click on Edit

Step 4: Make sure that the ‘variable value’ points to the complete and correct path to the new license file. For example ‘C:\Program Files\Telelogic\license.dat’

Step 5: Click on OK.

Step 6: Now Open registry from Start>Run> “regedit”.

Step 7: Navigate to ‘HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\FLEXlm License Manager’ and make sure that ‘TELELOGIC_LICENSE_FILE’ has the same path to the demo license file.

Step 8: Now try launching DOORS.
