Are IBM Tivoli Directory Server and IBM Tivoli Access Manager for e-business available as part of the WebSphere Application Server V7.0 licensing agreement?

Answer

IBM Tivoli Directory Server V6.1 is available with both the WebSphere Application Server V7.0 and WebSphere Application Server for Developers V7.0 product offerings, but it is not available for WebSphere Application Server Express V7.0 product offerings. IBM Tivoli Directory Server is not available on AIX and Linux Power 32-bit architectures.

In addition, Tivoli Access Manager for e-business is available with both the WebSphere Application Server V7.0 and WebSphere Application Server for Developers V7.0 product offerings, but it is not available for WebSphere Application Server Express V7.0 product offerings. Tivoli Access Manager is supported on 32-bit operating systems.

These two offerings are available through Passport Advantage.

Note: The license for WebSphere Application Server Version 7.0 and WebSphere Application Server for Developers V7.0 cite both IBM Tivoli Directory Server and Tivoli Access Manager for e-business, including their usage restrictions. IBM Tivoli Directory Server and Tivoli Access Manager for e-business are not available as part of the licensing agreement for the WebSphere Application Server Express V7.0 product offering.
