Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All CICS Users * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When an outbound web service request is * * being made with an HTTP header larger * * than 256 bytes, this header becomes * * corrupted. * **************************************************************** If an HTTP header larger than 256 bytes is sent on an outbound web service request, this header is handled incorrectly when being copied into the send buffer. This is because a MVC instruction is used which can move a maximum of 256 bytes. A header larger than this will be truncated and result in a corrupt header being built.
Problem conclusion
DFHWBCL has been changed to ensure the entire HTTP header value is copied correctly.
