APAR status
Closed as program error.
Error description
This was reproduced using v6.0.0.10, with the below code: EXEC SQL FETCH PRICE_TABLE INTO :START-DATE, :END-DATE, :PRICE END-EXEC So, the data element PRICE is used in the FETCH statement to receive the value from PRICE_MASTER.PRICE. When you run an impact analysis on the column PRICE_MASTER.PRICE, the PRICE data element isn't considered impacted. You can see from the data element details page that it's only considered to be referenced, not read from or written to.
Local fix

Problem summary
Data element updated via cursor FETCH not considered updated by the cursor's columns when using the proprietary scanner.
Problem conclusion
Updated the proprietary scanner so that a FETCH statement will include columns from the cursor, and replace any structure or array reference with child items or array references for each select list column.
Temporary fix
