PH12531: TOSI OVERLAYS THE SHOWCB MODEL AND DL/I REGION TERMINATES ABEND S0C4

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• TOSI overlays the SHOWCB macro model in processing VSAMSTAT
  command.
  When next VSAMSTAT command is requested, the SHOWCB macro is
  issued using the overlaid model.
  As a result, DL/I region terminates with abend S0C4 because the
  VSAM module refers to the overlaid parameters.

  *                      macro with incorrect parameters when    *
  *                      TOSI VSAMSTAT command is requested.     *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *
  ****************************************************************
  TOSI may overlay the SHOWCB list form when TOSI VSAMSTAST
  command is requested. If the SHOWCB list form is overlaid, TOSI
  issues SHOWCB macro with the overlaid parameters when the next
  VSAMSTAT command is requested.
  As a result, DLISAS terminates with abend S0C4 ( ABEND0C4 )
  because VSAM module that is called by SHOWCB macro refers
  incorrect parameters.
  

Problem conclusion

• The following TOSI modules have been changed to fix the above
  problem:
  - FOIAM60D, FOIAM60E, FOIAM60F
