Error description

  • After migrating to IBM Tools Base V1.6, "POLICY GET failed in
    ASLK" occurred in Recovery evaluation.

Problem summary

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: POLICY GET failed in ASLK message is    *
    *                      occurred in Recovery evaluation,        *
    *                      when IMS Tools Knowledge Base migrates  *
    *                      from V1.5 to V1.6.                      *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR and      *
    *                 restart Autonomics Director server.          *
    ****************************************************************
    Autonomics Director creates Recovery domain data in AD
    repository if Autonomics Director repository is still V1.5
    format.
    The Autonomics Director sets the value that is same as Reorg
    domain to Policyby. However, the policy rule for Recovery domain
    is not same as one for Reorg domain. Therefore, AD attempts to
    evaluate Recovery domain using invalid policy rules.
    As the result, POLICY GET failed in ASLK message is issued.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The following program has been fixed to set appropriate value
    to Policyby for Recovery domain.
