Error description
During the editing of a QMF-FORM and displaying the report we get message: DSQ60291 FM error - failed to insert record into update checkpoint index. *** CMD=DISPLAY .. .. To reproduce the problem using a simple query on Q.STAFF. . If you execute the query and make the following actions in the same sequence you get the error: - Execute this SQL-statement: SELECT DEPT, JOB, "YEARS", SALARY FROM Q.STAFF ORDER BY DEPT, YEARS - PF9 (FORM) - Change FORM.MAIN NUM COLUMN HEADING USAGE --- ---------------------------------------- ------- 1 DEPT BREAK1 2 JOB ACROSS 3 YEARS GROUP 4 SALARY MINIMUM - PF12 (Report) - COMMAND ===> M + PF8 (Max down) - PF9 (FORM) - PF4 (SHOW) - 15 + Enter (Form.Final) - Change Put Final Summary at Line ===> 1 to None - PF12 (Report) - PF9 (FORM) - PF4 (SHOW) - 16 + Enter (Form.BreakN) - Change Put Break Summary at Line ===> 1 to None - PF12 (Report) . If the updated form was saved and run with the query, the problem would not have occurred.
