PH04745: NEW DWARF FLAGS ADDED TO THE DWARF DIAGNOSTIC INFORMATION WHEN THE TEST(DWARF) OPTION IS IN EFFECT

APAR status

• Closed as new function.

Error description

• The compiler is changed to generate new DWARF flags within the
  DWARF diagnostic information when the TEST(DWARF) option is in
  effect.
  

Local fix

• If the COBOL Runtime LE APAR is not installed, and the compiler
  APAR is installed, then there will be no impact on existing
  programs.  However, future enhancements that may take
  advantage of the new DWARF information may not function
  correctly.

  New flags have been added to the generated DWARF diagnostic
  information.  Please refer to the DWARF/ELF Extensions Library
  Reference for the new flags starting with name DW_SAT_IBM with
  enumeration 25 to 30 inclusive.
