PI22092: MSGDSQ14101 ISSUED IN QMF V11 DBCS QUERYING TABLE WITH LOB DATA

Error description

• SQL statement "SELECT *" failed with DSQ14101 in QMF in DBCS
  environments when runing SQL query.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Users can receive message "DSQ14101     *
  *                      Unexpected return code from RPT: 4.     *
  *                      *** CMD=RUN" when running a query       *
  *                      against a table that contains LOB       *
  *                      data.                                   *

  Code was introduced to QMF V11 that checked LOB data for
  missing shift-out or shift-in (SOSI)characters on DBCS systems.
  The code was checking for SOSI characters in storage that was
  not actually LOB data.
  

Problem conclusion

• Code was altered to not check for SOSI characters in storage
  that is not actually LOB data.
