Error description
When using the IBM Rational ClearCase 'cleartool relocate' command to move elements between VOBs, the relocate may crash with a 'bus error' on Oracle Solaris or a 'Segmentation Fault' on Linux. This issue has been observed on ClearCase 8.0.1.3-IFIX01 as well as 7.1.2.11. It has been reported to not occur on a 7.1.2.9 host.
Local fix
Perform the operation using a ClearCase 7.1.2.9 host.
