    * USERS AFFECTED: IMS Library Integrity Utilities for z/OS, *
    *                 Version 2 Release 1 (FMID=H27P210) users     *
    * who use the Advanced ACBGEN utility under *
    *                 IMS V12 or V13.                              *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: By this APAR, the Advanced ACBGEN *
    * generates ACB members by using DBDs *
    * which have EXTERNALNAME on the XDFLD *
    * statement. This feature is provided by *
    *                      IMS APAR PI05278(IMS V12) and PI13336(  *
    *                      IMS V13).                               *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. *
    ****************************************************************
    Advanced ACBGEN generates ACB members by using DBDs which have
    EXTERNALNAME on the XDFLD statement. This feature is provided by
    IMS APAR PI05278(IMS V12) and PI13336(IMS V13).

    If Advanced ACBGEN utility without this APAR applied runs in the
    environments with IMS APAR PI05278(IMS V12) or PI13336(IMS V13),
    Advanced ACBGEN has a possibility to generate ACB members with
    incorrect address for EXTERNALNAME on the XDFLD statement. These
    members can not be used for the input of IMS Catalog Populate
    utility. It will cause any problems and any ABENDs can occur.

    However, Advanced ACBGEN utility with this APAR applied can
    generate correct ACB members in the IMS environment without IMS
    APAR PI05278(IMS V12) or APAR PI13336(IMS V13) applied. These
    members can be used for the input of IMS Catalog Populate
    utility.
