  *                 function to convert a table space from       *
  *                 segmented to partitioned and create          *
  *                 a new partitioning index.                    *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When using the DB2 Administration Tool  *
  *                      for z/OS ALT function to convert a      *
  *                      table space from segmented to           *
  *                      partitioned, no provision is made to    *
  *                      allow the creation of a new             *
  *                      partitioning index after the table      *
  *                      space conversion.                       *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  When using the DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS ALT function
  to convert a table space from segmented to partitioned, no
  provision is made to allow the creation of a new partitioning
  index after the table space conversion.  This may lead to an
  SQLCODE = +653 / SQLCODE653 when attempting to manipulate
  the data in the table residing in the partitioned table space.
