Error description
When CCM_TMPDIR is defined, ccmdb backup does not put the DBdump file in the backup with Rational Synergy 7.2 To reproduce the problem: -Open a terminal on the Synergy server as ccm_root -Set the environment variable CCM_TMPDIR to /tmp/ for example. -backup a database using 'ccmdb backup....': ccmdb backup ?database_path? -t ?directory_for_backup? -Check the backup file: Unzip the backup file you just created, and extract the files: unzip test.sbk mv '-' test tar xvf test =? There is no DBdump file. And if you try to restore a database using that backup file you have the error: cat: ./DBdump: No such file or directory If you check the directory pointed by the CCM_TMPDIR variable, you will notice that the DBdump file is still in that directory once the backup is done.
