Clicking online links in the Feature Pack for SCA help files might result in a 404 error

Problem

A 404 error might result when you click a link within a Feature Pack for Service Component Architecture (SCA) help file from the administrative console. When you click a link at the bottom of the help file with (online) after the link name, a []404 error[] might display instead of an Information Center file on an IBM Web site. An (online) link resembles the following text: []Check for updates to this topic (online)[] Incorrect (online) links do not have []product=was-nd-mp[] in the URL. Instead, the incorrect URLs have values such as []product=was-nd-dist[] or []product=undefined[]. For an (online) link in an SCA help to access an Information Center file, the URL must contain a []product=was-nd-mp[] value. For example: []http://www14.software.ibm.com/webapp/wsbroker/redirect?version=v700sca&product=was-nd-mp&topic=usca_compdet[] This problem exists on Version 1.0.0 only of Feature Pack for SCA. The problem is fixed on Feature Pack for SCA Version 1.0.1.

Resolving The Problem

Change the URL in browsers that display Error 404 so that product=was-nd-mp and press Enter.


Also, to correct the (online) links using a Mozilla Firefox browser, you can right-click the help title in the navigation tree and select to open the link in a new window or tab.
