Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS' Revoke Impact Report
  shows that a view will be dropped when revoking an authority
  on a table from PUBLIC, granted by a SYSADM. yet DB2 will not
  actually drop the view.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When running the Revoke Impact Report   *
  *                      on panel ADB2RIP 'Revoke Impact         *
  *                      Report', DB2 Admin displays a view to   *
  *                      be dropped by DB2 if SELECT privilege   *
  *                      is revoked from a base table of the     *
  *                      view, but DB2 will not drop the view.   *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  A view is dropped when the SELECT privilege that was used to
  create it is revoked, but if the owner of the view was directly
  granted the SELECT privilege from another source before the
  view was created, the view will not be dropped by DB2.
