Comments
This APAR adds support for up to 310 active log data sets per active log ring. The BSDS version will be increased to 3 when more than 31 logs are added to either active log ring. All queue managers in a queue sharing group (QSG) should have the PTF to enable this feature applied before more than 31 logs are added to either active log ring on any queue manager in the QSG. Failure to do so will cause some shared queue operations to abend with reason 00D10122 as queue managers without the PTF applied will not be able to access the BSDS of queue managers with more than 31 logs in either active log ring. Once more than 31 active log data sets have been added to either active log ring, the following procedure must be followed if this APAR is to be backed out: 1. Stop the queue manager cleanly. 2. Back up the BSDS. 3. Run the print log map utility (CSQJU004) against the BSDS. Save the output from the utility for reference later. 4. Confirm that fewer than 31 active logs have a status of "NOT REUSABLE". If this is not the case, restart the queue manager and allow log offload to complete before proceeding. 5. Remove all active logs from the BSDS using the DELETE function of the change log inventory utility (CSQJU003). 6. Add the 31 most recently used active logs, as displayed in the CSQJU004 output, back into the BSDS using the NEWLOG function of the CSQJU003 utility. Specify the start and end RBAs and timestamps as displayed in the CSQJU004 output. 7. Restart the queue manager. ×**** PE17/07/11 FIX IN ERROR. SEE APAR PI84333 FOR DESCRIPTION
