    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    This APAR fixes the following problems:
     1. Forward fit of PI29363
        The IMS manual says that CI size of 8K (8192) is recommended
        for ILDS as a starting point. However, CONVERT function
        builds ILDS with CI size of 4K (4096).
     2. Forward fit of PI33755
        MAINTAIN function can cause some DBRC information to roll
        off for the new partition.
    3. Forward fit of PI41766
        MAINTAIN function with KEYSORDR(Y) can fail with ABENDU0999
        when long value for KEYSTRING is defined.

Problem conclusion

  • Code has been changed to fix the issues described in this APAR.
