Problem conclusion

  • Problem has been resolved.

    A new field:

    RESET MAXASSIGNED . . (Yes/No)

has beed added to panel ADB26CTQ.

This field can be set to 'YES' only when the user does not
update the 'RESTART WITH' field, and DB2 Admin will generate
the ADMIN ALTER TABLE table_name ALTER COLUMN col_name RESET
MAXASSIGNEDVAL statement in the ALT job to continue the ALT
    process.

Otherwise, if the user set the 'RESET MAXASSIGED' field to
'YES' and also update the 'RESTART WITH' field, panel ADB26CTQ
will display the following error message:

    changed.
    System action
    Processing stops.
