Rhapsody 7.1.1/Workbench 2.6/VxWorks 6.5

Note: Workbench 2.6 is not officially supported in Rhapsody 7.1.1.   Whereas previous unsupported version of Workbench worked seamlessly with Rhapsody, Workbench 2.6 will not due directory structure changes that prevent Rhapsody from finding the necessary "features" and "plugins" folders.

Workbench 2.6

1. Change EclipsePath under the [IDE] section in rhapsody.ini to reflect the path to wrwb.exe in your Workbench installation
2. Locate the \Adapters\VxWorks\EclipsePlugins folder on your Rhapsody installation media
3. Copy the files from the "features" folder to the same folder in your Workbench installation:

<install dir >\ WindRiver\workbench-2.6\wrwb\platform\eclipse

<install dir>\ WindRiver\workbench-2.6\wrwb\tools\eclipse                                  

4. Copy the files from the "plugins" folder to the same folder in your Workbench

<install dir >\ WindRiver\workbench-2.6\wrwb\platform\eclipse

            <install dir>\ WindRiver\workbench-2.6\wrwb\tools\eclipse          

     Trouble-shooting Tip : If you have problems establishing connectivity between

     Workbench & Rhapsody or getting the project wizard to come up run

     Eclipse.exe –clean from a command prompt or delete all files in the

     C:\eclipse\configuration directory except config.ini.

VxWorks 6.5

1.       Open for edit the Vx6make.bat file in the $OMROOT\Share\etc directory of your

Rhapsody installation

2.       Change the value of vxver from 6.2 to 6.5(or other version if applicable).

3.       Open a command prompt and change director to the $OMROOT\Share\Langcpp  

directory of your Rhapsody installation

4.       Recompile the framework by running ..\etc\vx6make.bat vxbuild.mak
