Error description
When using a copybook with a zoned decimal and he ISO-8859-1 encoding any change is made to a message action and saved, closed and re-opened in test factory then a '+' (or '-') is added after the zoned decimal in the next field and all subsequent bytes are pushed forward by one. This does not happen when using the (default) CP037 encoding.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: * * All users of Rational Integration Tester working with zoned * * decimals in Copybooks. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: * * Zoned decimals in Copybooks generally include the sign part * * of the number as an overpunch in the last digit of the * * serialized form. This overpunch was previously included for * * EBCDIC-based character sets, but not for ASCII-based * * characters, which meant that ASCII-based messages were being * * corrupted. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * ****************************************************************
Problem conclusion
A fix for this issue was provided in version 8.7.0.2 of Rational Integration Tester. Overpunch support has been added for the ASCII-based character sets.
