Error description

• DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS issues SQLCODE = -204
  SQLCODEN204 when Owner and Schema names have different values
  for CM and Checkpoint objects during customization process
  using IBM Tools Customizer for z/OS
  

Local fix

• As a work-around to avoid the -204 please ensure that
  input fields "Owner name" and "SET CURRENT SCHEMA" have the same
  value as shown below:

  *                      include the keyword OWNER() for the     *
  *                      BIND PACKAGE statement.                 *

  *                      3.  When using GrpAttch (Group          *
  *                      Attach), job template ADBBIND is        *
  *                      generated per SSID instead of per       *
  *                      Group Attach Name.                      *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  The following issues have been resolved:
  
  1. When using DB2 Admin and the IBM Tools Customizer for z/OS,
  if the value for the Change Management 'Owner name' and 'SET
  CURRENT SCHEMA' option are different on panel CCQPPRD
  'Product Parameters', upon invocation of Change Management
  option 5 'Manage ID table' on panel ADB2C 'Change Management
  (CM)', a SQLCODE=-204 / SQLCODEN204 is observed.
  
  2.  When input put field 'BIND OWNER' on panel CCQPPRD
  'Product Parameters' is non-blank, the BIND step in the
  generated job template ADBSETUP 'Admin Tool Setup Task' does
  not include the keyword OWNER() for the BIND PACKAGE statement.
  
  3.  When using GrpAttch (Group Attach), job template ADBBIND
  is generated per SSID instead of per Group Attach Name
  

Problem conclusion

• The problems have been resolved.
  
  Instructions:
  
  1. Using IBM Tools Customizer for z/OS, navigate to panel
  CCQPWRK 'Customizer Workplace: DB2 Admin Tool' and issue
  line command 'G' to re-generate job template ADBSETUP 'Admin
  Tool Setup Task'.
  
  2. Submit the template ADBSETUP 'Admin Tool Setup Task' job.
  
  Note in the BIND step that the OWNER() keyword should now
  appear for the BIND PACKAGE statement when input field
  'BIND OWNER' has a value on panel CCQPPRD 'Product Parameters'.
