How do I create stereotypes of my own in IBM Rational Rhapsody?

Question & Answer

Question

How do I create stereotypes of my own in Rhapsody?

Answer

To create a new stereotype in Rhapsody, just (as an example) create a new class in your model by:

  1. Under Packages, right-click on 'Default' and select Add New -> Class.
  2. In the Properties dialog box, there's a Stereotype drop-down list that is empty by default. Just type in a new stereotype.
  3. Now this new stereotype is available for any new class you add.
  4. You can follow the same procedure to remove it from your model as well.

Alternative Method:

Right-click package and select add new -> Stereotype
