• DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS does not allow for
  the manual overwrite to run utiliites at remote site

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When option 'CO - Connect to remote     *
  *                      subsystem' from panel ADB2DDF           *
  *                      'Distributed DB2 Systems' is used to    *
  *                      connect to a remote location/subsystem, *
  *                      no warning message is issued upon       *
  *                      generation of the utility job in ISPF   *
  *                      Edit stating that Jobcard JES           *
  *                      destination and space calculation are   *
  *                      not supported when connected to a       *
  *                      remote subsystem.                       *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  When option 'CO - Connect to remote subsystem' from panel
  ADB2DDF 'Distributed DB2 Systems' is used to connect to a
  remote location/subsystem, no warning message is issued upon
  generation of the utility job in ISPF Edit stating that
  Jobcard JES destination and space calculation are not
  supported when connected to a remote subsystem.
  

Problem conclusion

• APAR PI37200 will undo the changes made by APAR PI35371 (which
  disabled the usage of Utilities when connected to a distributed
  system). Users can once again use Utilities on the connected
  system and will be presented with warning message ADB349W /
  msgadb349W before viewing the generated batch utility job:
  
  ADB349W Jobcard JES destination and space calculation are
  not supported when connected to a remote subsystem.  Please
  add the JES destination to the job card and amend the default
  Primary/Secondary space attributes found on panel ADB2UPA
  'Batch Job Utility Parameters' if necessary.
