Error description
Using PageDesigner to create Facelet pages (which works reasonab ly wel) has problems though when TLDs created just to work in a JSP editor for building a Facelet (but not for runtime) are inva lid (no tagclass). This invalid TLD will cause an NullPointerExc eption as the tool is parsing the TLD.
Local fix
Problem summary
The problem was caused when a TLD had a class-name element under a tag definition but no content inside that class-name element. The code was expecting (and not null-checking for) a child #text node whose value is the class name string.
Problem conclusion
The code has been changed to specifically look for a child #text node in the DOM and handle the null case by assuming and returning a null classname string. This makes the tool tolerate the unexpected case of empty class-names without failure. Fix delivered in Rational Application Developer V7007.
