The Edge installer does not check for free space

Troubleshooting


Problem

The installation program for the Edge Components sometimes reports success, even if there is not enough space to complete the installation process.

Resolving The Problem

To resolve this problem, complete the following steps:

  1. Uninstall the Edge Components.

  2. Ensure that your system has 300 MB of free space in the /var/tmp partition and 200 MB in the /opt partition.

  3. Reinstall the Edge Components.
