Error description
During Syndication, encountered duplicateKeyException because the jcr.WCM_OBJECTS table in persistence database an update entry, which was not cleared. There have been 2 properties added to the WCMConfigService.properties to improve robustness of Syndication. - Kick off the keepAlive task that will continually check on active tasks connect.moduleconfig.syndication.scheduleKeepAlive=true - Schedule session checker task that will check for abandoned tasks connect.moduleconfig.syndication.scheduleSessionChecker=true Following property for automatic syndication can be left to false while enabling above two properties. connect.moduleconfig.syndication.inittasks=false
Local fix
WorkAround is to clear the WCM_OBJECTS table in persistence database when seeing the duplicatekeyexception to allow syndication to continue.
Problem summary
During Syndication, encountered duplicateKeyException because the jcr.WCM_OBJECTS table in persistence database had an update entry, which was not cleared. Two new properties have been added to the WCMConfigService.properties to improve robustness of Syndication.
Problem conclusion
Value of connect.moduleconfig.syndication.inittasks used to control if scheduleKeepAlive or scheduleSessionChecker task were started or not. This fix removes the scheduleKeepAlive or scheduleSessionChecker task dependency from inittasks. This fix would allow you to keep the inittasks to false and turn on scheduleKeepAlive or scheduleSessionChecker task with value true.
