Error description

  • A logical unload fails after the following message has been
    issued:
    DSNT408I SQLCODE = -4742, ERROR: THE STATEMENT CANNOT BE
    EXECUTED BY DB2 OR IN THE ACCELERATOR (REASON 4)
    This occurs if all the following conditions are fulfilled:
    - the fix for PI84324 (PB49786) has been applied
    - the QUERY_ACCELERATION feature is applicable (i.e. DB2 FORCE
    is specified and neither - the DB2 HPU QUERY_ACCELERATION NONE
    option nor the DB2 setting QUERY_ACCELERATION=NONE is specified
    - the involved SELECT statement is not a read-only statement

Local fix

  • add the FOR READ ONLY clause to the involved SELECT statement.
