Error description

• Users of Enterprise COBOL Vx.x compiling programs at OPT(2)
  that INITIALIZE a group data item and then immediately use MOVE
  statements to assign literal values to elementary data items in
  the group may see incorrect values in the elementary data items.
  The compiler may generate code for the elementary moves before
  the INITIALIZE, causing the elementary data items to have an
  incorrect value.

• Recompile at OPT(0) or OPT(1).

  At OPT(2), the compiler sorts statement that assign literal
  values in order to group as many as possible into single stores
  of larger amounts of data. The sorting process missed a case
  when it was illegal to reorder two smaller stores.
  

Problem conclusion

• The compiler was fixed to only reorder stores when it is legal
  to do so.
