PI84875: DB2 ADMINISTRATION TOOL - SOME ZPARMS GENERATED BY ADMIN TOOL ARE INCORRECT

Error description

• A discrepency in the ZPARM output when using the ADMIN
  TOOL Ver 11.1 and Ver 11.2 run against a DB2 Ver 11 NFM
  environment.
  Here is the example:
  
  1) The INLISTP parm (in DSN6SPRM, default is 50) not specified
     in DSNTIJUZ
  
  DB2 ADMIN TOOL 11.1 --> The output shows INLISTP=0 - incorrect
  DB2 ADMIN TOOL 11.2 --> The output shows INLISTP=50 - correct
  
  2) The RESTART parm (in DSN6SPRM, default is RESTART) is
     specified in in DSNTIJUZ
  
  DB2 ADMIN TOOL 11.1 --> The output shows RESTART - correct
  DB2 ADMIN TOOL 11.2 --> The output shows DEFER - incorrect
  
  The steps to generate the ZPARM is summarized as below:
  1. select 'Z' - DB2 SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION in the main panel.
  2. select '2Z' - MANAGE SYSTEM PARAMETERS
  3. select option '1' - DISPLAY PARAMETERS/GENERATE DSNZPARM
     SOURCE in the System Parameters panel
  4. enter 'GEN'

  A discrepancy in the ZPARM output is found when using
  the GEN command from panel ADB2ZZMN - "System
  Parameters - System Parameters" and run against a DB2
  V11 NFM environment. Also, inappropriate prompt messages
  are shown on panel ADB2ZZMN, message "Value out of
  range" in STORMXAB parm and on panel ADB2ZZAP,
  message "Value must be one of the following: NONE,1,2,3,
  98,99" in QUERY_ACCEL_OPTIONS parm.
  
   A total of nine issues are fixed in this APAR:
  
   1- The INLISTP parm was not specified in V11.1.
   2- The RESTART parm was not set correctly in V11.1,
      V11.2, V12.1.
   3- The APPLCOMPAT parm shows unreadable code in
      V11.1.
   4- There was prompt message "Value out of range, Enter a
      numeric value between 0 and 225" in STORMXAB parm
      in V11.1 while the value was 255.
   5- The FLASHCOPY_XRCP parm is not set in V11.1.
   6- The CACHEDYN_FREELOCAL is not set in V12.1.
   7- There was prompt message "Value must be one of the
      following:
  
      NONE,1,2,3,98,99,(comma separated list of numbers) " in
      QUERY_ACCEL_OPTIONS on panel ADB2ZZAP in V11.2,
      V12.1 while the value was (1,2,3,5,6).
   8- REORG_MAPPING_DATABASE shows unreadable code
      in V11.1, V11.2, V12.1.
   9- FCCOPYDDN shows blank after GEN in V11.1, V11.2,
      V12.1.
