Error description

  • IBM Explorer for z/OS v3.0 - zExpl wrongly shows error with
symbolic parameter on the PROC Statement.

Example :

Error message :  '"SymbolicParameterName" is invalid' is shown
regarding SYSTEM=D

  • In the z/OS Explorer JCL editor, symbolic names using reserved
keywords in PROC and EXEC statements would display a
"SymbolicParameterName is invalid" warning
