Error description

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: * * All DB2 12 for z/OS users of COPY and UNLOAD utilities * * executed from the DSNUTILU utility stored procedure. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: * * UNLOAD from an image copy data set created by COPY failed * * with message DSNU1015I and IKJ56221I when COPY and UNLOAD * * utilities were executed from the DSNUTILU utility stored * * procedure. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * * Apply corrective PTF when available. * **************************************************************** User ran COPY utility using TEMPLATE on tapes with STACK YES specified from the DSNUTILU utility stored procedure. The subsequent UNLOAD from the first image data set created by COPY failed with MSGDSNU1015I - 'ERROR ALLOCATING DATA SET DSN=dsname' and MSGIKJ5622I - 'DATA SET dsname NOT ALLOCATED, VOLUME NOT AVAILABLE+ VOLUME IS ALLOCATED TO ANOTHER JOB OR USER, TRY LATER'. It was because COPY STACK YES did not deallocate the first data set allocated on each stack after execution when the COPY utility was executed from the DSNUTILU utility stored procedure. Additional Keywords: DSNUTILS
Problem conclusion
COPY utility code has been modified to deallocate the data sets allocated during COPY after copy done.
