Abend ABN=5C6-00D400B7 dump issued during queue manager ( qmgr ) starting with CCSID=1390. . This abend always occur during the qmgr starting when using CCSID = 1390(Extended Japanese Katakana-Kanji Host Mixed) which does not accept lower case characters. . If no such table can be located, the reported abend occurs and CSQMQMUP processing terminates, resulting in necessary processing to enable pubsub and signal that log archiving can continue being incorrectly skipped.
Problem conclusion
CSQMQMUP is changed to request conversion to different CCSIDS, depending on the queue manger CCSID to ensure that a valid table can be found. In the event that a suitable table still cannot be found, recovery processing has been added to allow CSQMQMUP processing to complete all necessary processing following the abend.
