Configuration repository MustGather information
This MustGather is for the configuration repository component. This component creates, configures, modifies, reads, and deletes configuration files in the repository. If you experience a problem in this area, gather the following information.

  1. Describe the problem in detail.

  2. Set the following trace in the administrative console:
    • For WebSphere Application Server V7.0, V8.0, V8.5, or V9.0:

    • a.
      b. In the administrative console, navigate to Troubleshooting > Logs and Trace > dmgr > Diagnostic Trace.

      c. Select the Runtime tab.

Note: If you are running in a Base environment, select server1 instead of the dmgr server.

      d. In the Trace Specification field, modify the existing trace string to:

      *=info:com.ibm.ws.console.app*=all:com.ibm.ws.management.application.*=all:com.ibm.websphere.management.application.*=all

      e. Click Apply or OK so that the trace string is saved.
      f.
      1. In the administrative console, expand the Troubleshooting section and click on Logs and Trace

      2. Click on the link for your server or dmgr where administrative console is running.

      3. Click on Change Log Detail Levels.

      4. Click on the Runtime tab and change *=info to the following:

        *=info:com.ibm.ws.management.*=all:com.ibm.websphere.management.*=all

        Click on Apply.
  3. Recreate the problem.

  4. Run the Collector tool on all the installations that are involved. For additional information, refer to the Information Center specifics for the version of WebSphere Application Server you are running.

  5. Follow directions in MustGather: Read First to open a PMR and send data to IBM® Support.

  6. Follow instructions to send diagnostic information to IBM support.
