Error description
When you are working in a local Rational ClearCase dynamic view, you may find that the view hangs if you are using -bext="/" in a perl script. You cannot kill the view process and need to reboot the system. This issue does not occur in a snapshot view or a remote dynamic view. You can also disable the cache by setting the UseCacheManager" to 0 in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\mvfs\Parame ters
