PI95085: THE COMPILER RULES PROCESSING IS NOT RECOGNIZING THAT THE NUMCHECK OPTION HAS BEEN OVERRIDDEN BY NONUMCHECK.

Error description

• The compiler code in the area of the RULES processing is not
  recognizing that the NUMCHECK option set in the compiler
  optioptions default module has been overridden by NONUMCHECK in
  the compile JCL.  The message below is being emitted in error:
  
  IGYSC2259-W   **RULES(NOLAXPERF)** Compiler option
                "NUMCHECK(ZON or PAC or BIN)" was in effect and
                could produce a less efficient program compared
                to option "NONUMCHECK".  Compiler option
                "NONUMCHECK" could result in better run-time
                performance.  Please note: Investigate side
                effects before making changes to compiler
                options.
  
  The compiler options default module must have the NUMCHECK
  option set simmilarly to what is shown below and then be
  overridden with NONUMCHECK in the compile JCL:

  The default setting of NUMCHECK option in IGYCDOPT was setting
  several flags, but NONUMCHECK at invocation was not turning all
  of those flags off.
  

Problem conclusion

• Compiler options module IGYKCNTL was changed to correctly turn
  off all flags associated with NUMCHECK when NONUMCHECK is
  specified.
