Abstract
All about Db2 iFixes (interim fixes)
Body
An interim fix (iFix) is the next level of maintenance updates for Db2 in the 11.1 stream - a tested and certified update, generally available to you between Mod or Fix Packs. Unlike a Mod Pack or Fix Pack, an iFix contains only a small and focused set of fixes for the most important and critical APARs on top of the previous Mod / Fix Pack. Interim Fix updates contain significantly fewer changes than a typical Mod or Fix Pack.
- iFixes have the same level of permanency and support as any fix pack.
- iFixes are a part of the cumulative stream of update vehicles for Db2 11.1.
- All content in an iFix will be included in the next Mod or Fix Pack in the 11.1 stream.
