Error description
In an EGL IMS application, ELAMEM module abends with U4038 code. It appears that te problem is because memory is not freed betwee n message segments.
Local fix
Problem summary
The elamem pointer was being reset to null without freeing the associated memory in a couple of places. In addition, the rts memory chains was also being reset to null without freeing its memory as well. In all systems, this was not a problem, except for IMSVS. In IMSVS, the transaction doesn't really go away because it waits for the next queue message to come in. This causes a leakage of memory to occur, until the region runs out.
Problem conclusion
Software updated. Fixtest available.
